The Ukrainian ability to adapt and innovate under fire throughout Russia’s three day special military operation has been very impressive. They are definitely on the cutting edge of modern drone warfare and the US and NATO would do well to learn what we can from their experience

Jesus. If that’s true, it’s horrifying. I know people around reddit like to dehumanize conscripts being slaughtered, but this is just sad to see. By luck of birth, it’s not me.
The battle of the Somme is known as one of the worst things to happen in war fighting and it averaged just about 2,000 killed per day, which is damn close to this.
This entire war reminds me of the Russo-Japanese war, where the world SHOULD have found out that mechanized warfare was insanity and not to do it, and instead found out “car go fast, army go fast” and ended up in a trenchline across Europe.
