Up on the screen there appears to be someone standing on the dark side of the moon and also a structure a little further in the background. I don't know what the red copy is but I thought Artemis II wasn't landing on the moon let alone the dark side.

Would 40 minutes be enough time to land walk around and take off again?

My first question would be “what is that image supposed to be showing” because if we don’t know that, we can’t answer the question.

You’re saying it’s the dark side of the moon – are *they* saying it’s the dark side of the moon? Is it a simulation? Old footage from Apollo? Computer generated images for the next step of the mission?

If you can’t answer any of those questions, then *your* question is basically just “why does nasa have an image of an astronaut” and my answer to that is “because they’re the space agency.”

    Any more details?

  3. Judging by all that light, it’s probably not an image of the dark side of the moon.

  4. Where did the picture even come from? Even IF everything NASA does is BS (I’m not saying it is, I am saying IF) I highly doubt they’d be stupid enough to let this get past them. So, if it’s from NASA it’s obviously just a harmless screen of whatever random crap they throw up.

Now, if the photo was taken and sneaked out somehow I may would lend more credence to it.
