So, like one person from a council that is specifically created to focus on this topic has a message. Good for them.
It doesn’t discount the other things that are happening in the world. Those things still have their representatives who focus on this and make their statements.
Remember, helping a specific cause doesn’t mean you don’t care about all other causes. They aren’t saying white people, straight people, christians, etc., aren’t worth helping, they are just bringing awareness to the cause that they are passionate about and asked to focus on.
That would be like getting pulled over by a cop for speeding and going “OH SO YOU DON’T CARE ABOUT FIRES NOW??”

Imagine seeing what happened in Lebanon yesterday and having the gall to wake up Thursday and proclaim that there is a genocide against you because your feelings are hurt.
Nobody is preventing you from doing whatever you want in your personal life. Some people simply aren’t going to like you , full stop.
“Trans people get murdered for being trans!” So do black people for being black. So do white people for being white. If being trans or whatever else is biologically ingrained into their spirit as they claim – then you have to understand that some groups of people will simply not like you because of your uncontrollable biology.
Do what the rest of us do and navigate around it.
This is incredibly stupid and quite frankly the “queer community” ( I know plenty of people who are not like this ) needs to grow the fuck up and understand that as long as you have the right to vote, get a job, social benefits – there is nothing left to fight for in terms of what’s owed to your community. All that’s left is to build it and stop asking other people to change to make that easier.
Genocide, lmao. In Canada no less, one of the most “progressive” governments on the planet.
The only pass I’d give is to indigenous women. There is actually a MAJOR systemic issue there. Other than that, I bet it’s hard being different – but life isn’t fair. Grow up.
