Rule 10 Submission Statement: The Strait of Hormuz wasn't closed because of Iran's Naval or Air Forces. Full stop. It was closed because of the threat that their ballistic missiles and drones posed to the safety of ships traversing the strait and the fact that the United States essentially lacked the ability to defend them.

It was cemented by the United States unwillingness to send their own naval forces into the strait, underscoring the threat as real, in the eyes of insurance companies. Now, these ships won't even attempt to go through without direct assurance from the IRGC that they will not be fired upon. Which requires approval and/or a fee.

The threat of these missiles and drones is still in place and therefore the strait will remain effectively closed until the United States decides to go into Iran with a large scale ground invasion, in an attempt to root out the missile and drone launchers, or accept Iran's terms, which amount to strategic defeat, and withdraw from the region.

Iran employs something known as the "mosaic defense" – a highly decentralized leadership strategy that involved independent autonomous military districts, without direct communication to Tehran. Iran is a theocracy that believes they are in an existential crisis for their own survival, their leadership bench is very deep; and they can continue going at this for a long time.

Him saying otherwise is actual fake news meant to manipulate the markets.

Remember when America said it took out all of Iran’s anti-aircraft capability and then Iran shot down a billion dollars worth of American planes in like ten hours

  2. I really want to know what Vance does from here on out. As corrupt as he is I never thought he’d go along with the absolute mania that is going down in the White House right now.
