So if Virginia’s population chooses a Republican, but New York and California overwhelmingly choose a Democrat, Virginia cedes their EC votes to the whims of voters in those two states.
It also overturns the constitutional republic framework the founders put into place against mob rule 250 years ago (happy birthday America!).”
