    I don’t know why this is labeled opinion, nor why the title is so even-handed. This is an absolute travesty that even the case’s detective is trying to overturn. The only reason this betrayal of justice is still ongoing is ✨🙃 Texas 🙃✨. [Shaken baby syndrome](https://www.npr.org/2011/06/29/137471992/rethinking-shaken-baby-syndrome) as a legal means of determining an assault occurred [has come into question](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaken_baby_syndrome#Legal_issues) (in my opinion irrecoverably so) in the past decade and the use of it as the basis for a death-penalty prosecution is outrageous.
