At its core modi gov has a black eye the situation wont change so the south remains at 1970 levels of seats i wonder if women reservation is now off the table. This is interesting

    Is this a good thing? I’m not inherently in favor or against quotas, especially when it’s for women, but I can’t tell how I, a non-Indian NeoLib redditor, should feel about this

    Can’t kick the can down the road forever. Delimitation will have to happen eventually, as the MLA-to-voter ratio gets more and more out of whack and the average voter in large states becomes more and more disenfranchised.
