I don’t know if I would say “caught”. Because it is allowed. But they do notate it with a little dagger that it was the reason the book made it to the NYT best sellers list.
Is this the book where he tells his tale of being born a ‘poor black child’?
This is how they launder money from their campaign to their personal accounts. The campaign buys the book as a gift to give out to randos and the individual reaps the rewards.
Does the money from the book sales go to him? If it does, seems like the bigger story is getting people to donate to a PAC and using the money to buy his book.
