Don’t plan an outing that day in that town, because shitloads of people are going to be unable to show up to work. They’re not sick or preoccupied, they just can’t get on the train.

I’m ok with this. I’m a free market conservative. Charge what the market will bear….and it acts as a use tax. People using the service will pay vs raising taxes on everyone to provide cheap transportation to event goers.
