I posted this because I think China military build up has been vastly under reported by the media.

Maybe they just want to one up us.

The **USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78)** is currently the world’s largest and most advanced aircraft carrier, serving as the flagship of the United States Navy.  It measures **1,106 feet (337 meters)** in length, has a beam of **256 feet (78 meters)** at the flight deck, and stands **250 feet (76 meters)** high, with a full-load displacement of approximately **100,000 long tons**.  And 90 aircraft.

The Chinese are a smaller people so they can fit more stuff in a similar area. hehehehehe.
