That’s terrible, underpaying an informant like that.
Risked their life for a pissant $35k a year?

Right again? All Alex Jones does is lie and grift. This story is no exception.

So if they were all Democrats, why does this indictment based off all the evidence our government could find only about one member of a group chat? And remember, this indictment is the strongest version of the narrative the government wants to give us – it of course should not be taken at face value without looking at the evidence yourself. It’s full of framing devices.
Just a couple examples, “a member of the online leadership chat group” – how many members did that group have? Was it just for leaders of the event? How many “leaders” were there? If this guy was just in a chat group of 200 people, how is that not typical of an informant? What did this “helped coordinate transportation” look like? That could mean anything from “here are directions to the event” to “we’ve organized busses from all over the country to reach the event.” What was the nature of these racist postings, where were they posted? I want to see the evidence, not this administration’s spin on it.
Note what the charges are – we can summarize the first set as “The SPLC defrauded donors by saying they would dismantle these organizations, but actually they supported the organizations.” How is gathering information on an enemy group not part of the process of dismantling them? The claims of the indictment are incongruent with the actions outlined. In fact, the indictment DIRECTLY supports the idea that this was an effort to dismantle, because it explicitly discusses efforts to access and copy records from a hate organization, under paragraph 11(b) on page 4. If the SPLC was the actual force behind these hate groups, what reason could they have possibly had for doing that?

these tiki torch people are so dangerous to society that our government just lets them go and doesn’t take them down as they all casually walk to their u-haul trucks.
They seem to bring out the works for every type of “nazi” activity these organizations cry about but just don’t go after these people???

This is absolute BS. Trump’s initial most ardent supporters were David Duke and Richard Spencer. One is a KKK leader and one is an American Nazi. The Nazi, Spencer, led a “hail Trump, hail our people, hail victory!” Nazi salute right after Trump was elected in 2016 and Spencer organized the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville. They KILLED a leftist counterprotester there. Spencer does not work for SPLC. Spencer is an actual genocidal Nazi. I am honestly appalled by this thread. What is wrong with people?
