During the previous section of fighting in Iran, thousands of Iranian ground targets were destroyed. In the meantime, however, key US missile defense radars seem to have been destroyed – 1 AWACS aircraft, 2 AN/TPY-2 radars, and AN/FPS-132 and ([maybe 4? there are claims of more](https://www.aa.com.tr/en/middle-east/at-least-12-us-allied-radar-systems-hit-by-iran-since-start-of-war/3871501) ) and various lower level air defense radars. Iran has been successfully using Russian supplied intelligence, low level attack tactics and intelligence to locate and destroy US military targets.
