  1. Again? I suppose that some of the professional climatologists believe they’ll get it right one year. However, even if they don’t, they’ll earn a well-paid living from predicting doom and gloom.

Humans have colonized the planet from the tropics to the arctic. Now you’re telling me that because it a couple of degrees hotter, we’re all going to die?

And before you tell me about the heat stroke deaths, cold weather kills more each year than heat does. The best predictor of longevity on the planet today is access to 24/7/265 reliable energy. We would save more lives by making sure that more people have access to reliable power today than the lives we would save in the future, by killing people in the here and now by denying them access to energy.

  3. They obviously set the date so far in advance to avoid another ‘Al Gore’ time is up to moment. Everyone’ll be dead by then but they’ll still have the next 60 years to spew their BS.

    Ill be dead. Dont care.

BTW, they been saying this shit for years, just moving the goal posts. Now its 2085. In 60 years it’ll be 2100

  5. Prediction: every decade will see better conditions for plant life and fewer climate related deaths.

  6. Keep in mind, the year 2000 is the date for the arrival of the next Ice Age. In 2000, much of the planet will freeze and many will die as a result.

Just like the ones who told us Florida would be under water back in the late 70’s
