Flock cameras

I live in a very rural area and I was interested in seeing if there are any flock cameras in my small town. I looked into it and there was only one it just so happens to be across the street from my house. I’ve never noticed it but I see it now. My house is not on the main road so why would there be a license plate reader pointed at it. I’m not trying to sound paranoid. I didn’t expect to even have any in town, but the placement of this one is weird and doesn’t seem like it would even catch many license plates. I’ve looked around some other towns and they seem to be typically placed near a highway or main road, but not in my case very strange. This camera is somewhat close to a main highway, but considering the amount of places they could’ve placed the camera. This one doesn’t make sense. The house that it is showing up as being attached to is an abandoned house too.
