In my view, he embarrasses himself. Let's see, when the stock market is up, it's bad because it's only helping Trump and his "billionaire friends", but when it's down, it's also bad because it would hurt everyday Americans. In other words, everything that happens is bad under Trump, even when it's good. Got it.
The problem is that many, or even most, Americans are too ill-informed to know the difference. They simply believe what they are told, often unquestionably and without being educated as to the actual facts.

Things are decent in many places… The problem is blue states and their cities where prices are purposely the highest.
This guy seems to have really bad foot-in-mouth disease
Hakeem is a 7-watt bulb 💡 in a chandelier of 25-watt bulbs 💡. He is so dim he makes the rest of his party look bright by comparison.
I think the economy(or more precisely, affordability) is actually one of the few topics where people on both sides don’t just believe whatever they’re told. At most, you can sway who they blame or praise but you can’t make them ignore or invent the problem entirely.
Democrats tried to tell voters in 2024 how great the economy was and compared to the rest of the world maybe they were correct but voters found it incredibly insulting because even if things were worse elsewhere they were still bad here.
People living week to week and struggling to put food on the table or keep a roof over their head didn’t have the luxury of believing everything was hunky-dory and they’re almost always going to blame the people currently in charge.
The economy is meh. Inflation mostly under control but job market is weak. It could be worse but it’s not a tailwind for R’s in the midterms.
I might be way wrong on this. But, I’m thinking some companies and food suppliers are keeping the prices high because we are use to it. They can get away with it. I mean. One place has the product at 6.99 and and other store has it at 10.99. So for me that just makes me think it’s the companies playing games with us. They don’t care! Did this make sense ? So I don’t think the economy is that bad.
The economy is thriving but for the wrong people.
Affordability is a major issue right now with energy prices skyrocketing due to data centers (Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio and Georgia to name a few). Gas is still rising. Food is still rising. Interest rates are still as high as ever. Owning a home for alot of people is starting to look out of the question.
I personally knew a family who had to make a choice to live in a moderately warm house in the dead of winter or put food on the table for 2 weeks. This is America, what the fuck are we doing?
