SS: A spat between the Foreign Minister (Winston Peters) and the Prime Minister (Chrisopher Luxon) boiled over last week with the Foreign Minister accidentally (or so he claims) leaking email correspondence between the two over country’s position on the Iran War.

Christopher Luxon wanted to express explicit support to the US strikes on Iran while Peters wanted to express neither condemnation nor support for the strikes.

Luxon went on the record saying that only Peter’s perspective has been released and that these leaks have simply mischaracterised his position. He has been offered the chance to release evidence which supports his claims that he was mischaracterised, but has declined to do so.

In other news, Mr Luxon’s preferred PM rating has declined even further in a poll two weeks ago, to a record low 16%.

This relates to NZ, the dynamics of NZ’s governing coalition and how we’ve responded to the Iran war.
