How does that even happen? Schools are supposed to do background checks.
Edit: Ok so the headline is wrong. The offender entered the school, made it past the staff somehow, and then when he was questioned by another employee in the hallway he claimed he was a new hire doing maintenance. Then he found a 10-year old and assaulted her. But the school never hired him.

this seems like one of those cases where someone should be able to sue the school and personally sue whoever was responsible for the hiring.
