Submission Statement : Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has refused to resign despite the BJP’s two-thirds victory, claiming the election was “morally” won by her party but “officially” stolen through a biased Election Commission. While she lost her own seat, she intends to stay in office until her term expires this Thursday, after which the Governor can legally demand her resignation or wait for the new lawmakers to be sworn in. This is a historic first outright refusal of a CM in Indiia despite another party winning overwhelming majority.
Democracy and peaceful transfer of power are fire tenets of liberalism.

I guess election denial and claims of “stolen election” are a global phenomenon lol. Love it when the world embraces American values
