Will be interesting to watch this one in the General. Ohio has gotten redder mostly because of previously unengaged MAGA voters who come out for Trump, and a significant portion of them absolutely hate Vivek. Vivek didn’t do himself any favors by loudly coming out in favor of H1-B visas (and directly insulting this group in the process) and, well… they’re largely racist anyway and he’s an Indian man. Being a Republican and adjacent to Trump only gets you so far. This paired with Trump’s declining fortunes means I honestly think the governorship is gettable for the Dems.
