SS: Ceasefire to coincide with Russia’s victory day parades. Remains to be seen if this actually holds unlike prior ceasefire attempts.

Blue balls galore. I understand why Ukraine would take it though, 1,000 soldiers is a substantial amount of people and manpower. A symbolic strike on a parade isn’t worth sacrificing this opportunity

After Zelenskys, “Don’t come to school tomorrow.” tweet. Kinda feels like this is another 1 sided attempt where they never even talked to Z first.

Lmao Zelenskyy issued a presidential decree allowing the Russians to hold their parade “for humanitarian purposes”.
Interesting that the decree says “the territorial square of Red Square will be excluded from the plan for the use of Ukrainian weapons” but doesn’t rule out strikes elsewhere, especially since there will no doubt be ceasefire violations over the course of the 3 days.
I guess this helps Putin save face since he didn’t have to concede to Ukraine’s unilateral ceasefire or cancel the parade. It won’t be lost on people though that he now needs Ukraine’s permission to hold his parade, and had to run to Trump for help getting that permission.
