They don’t care what ammo costs, they don’t back down from challenges, and they don’t declaw themselves whenever a five minute peace is declared. The mullahs did exactly the opposite of what prolongs their time in power, and they did it hundreds of times in the leadup to current events.

To those on our side who are very cynical about this war, I get it, but this should give you pause.
The UAE and Saudi Arabia both have jumped into this, while all our European allies stand back and watch. This is a monumental shift in the world order that puts China and Russia both in such a bad position. This is a coalition, now.
Things can always go sideways, but I’d rather a kind of scary future that seems to be leading towards some really good things than a slow ride to hell that will inevitably lead to mass murder. We see the left now, we see their intentions. I’d rather them try to scare us but us having a chance to slap that stupid, violent, hate out of their heads than let that hate fester while they quietly take all the power and end us.
Those are the stakes. When times were good, those were still the stakes. We got soft and forgot that we are only ever a generation from losing all of this. We should have felt that a generation and a half ago the way we are feeling it now.
We will either come out of this with our heads held high, leading our misguided friends on the left, or we will become what they say we are and lose.
This story should encourage us to stay the course and ignore our fear. And I get the fear.
