China used to get oil from Venezuela. Trump ousted Maduro, started cooperation between the U.S. and Venezuela. Now China is going to buy oil from the U.S.
Excerpt from the article:
After his high-stakes bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, the White House just released the major outcomes, and they are straight-up wins for America.
China is now committing to buy more American energy and oil, wants to become less reliant on the volatile Strait of Hormuz, and has officially agreed that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon.
That’s not spin. That’s the direct result of Trump’s maximum-pressure foreign policy back in action.
This is textbook Trump diplomacy: strength first, deals second. While previous administrations let China walk all over us, funded their rise, and looked the other way on Iran’s nuclear ambitions, Trump is forcing real concessions that put American workers, farmers, and energy producers first.

Just don’t let them buy our farmland
Hmm, cautiously optimistic
Ill believe it when I see it. China will say just about anything if they believe it furthers their goals and after weeks of this admin saying the straight is open and there’s a cease fire only for it to be violated before its even announced, I don’t much believe their bullshit at this point either.
Im still tentative on helping china in any way, but making them more reliant on us in a more tangible way than broad consumerism is a very good thing.
