  1. SuperblackHunter on

The Reform to Labour pipelines is pretty exaggerated but its clear Labour lost a lot to the Green or the apathy vote

Really only Andy Burnham can win people back regardless if people dislike him on here, their main guy lost most of the public completely

  2. Submission statement: [Persuasion UK analysed data about how people voted in the 2026 local elections in England (and UK) compared to 2024 General elections](https://persuasionuk.org/research/may-2026-elections).

Most Labour voters stayed home, and a lot of them voted for Green Party, followed by Lib Dems. Only 5% of them voted for Reform. This shows that the Labour strategy of chasing Reform voters at all costs is stupid and is losing them elections. Greens and LibDems are much bigger threats to them, and they really need to work on getting non voters to show up if they want to save UK from the terrorism of the reform voting pensioner class.

Similarly, in Wales most Labour voters fled to Plaid (41%!!!) or stayed home.
