I'm not religious, but I knew people in university who got wrapped up in numerology or thoughts that they could be special in some way like this. Researching events that happened near their birth, how the numbers added up, all kinds of things. Looking for signs they were special. Usually they get over it, but Peter Thiel is still actively discussing these things like a child, and keeps talking about the antichrist and how dangerous and radical people are for simply trying to slow him down and put environmental protection as a priority.
The thing is, he actually was born around the time objects similar to the Star of Bethlehem were spotted by multiple eyewitnesses. In October 1967, the same month and year of his birth, these star-like objects were seen in Devon, and later Norfolk, apparently headed East across the sea, seemingly toward Germany, where he was born. https://imgur.com/a/DVo64ql
I'm not a believer, but he seems to be. I think he might have stumbled on this and convinced himself he was destined to mislead and destroy all that is good in humanity. And now that drives his actions. He'll call environmentalists the antichrist with one flick of his tongue, but then say we must accept the end of humans as we know them, transform them in body and soul, by seeking out immortal transhumanism as our future. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vV7YgnPUxcU&t=2992s
What if he thinks his destiny is to destroy all, while lying and just claiming to be a savior?

The antichrist is a political power or kingdom according to the book of Daniel, this is, the roman catholic church

I’m not even sure if the anti christ knows he is. I don’t think they’ve been born yet.
If he does then he should know he’s not cause it’s said we won’t know when he arrives. Catch 22 situation.
