Again, LNP is turning to the right to try to get votes from right-wing voters. That once again signifies the rightward turn of the LNP and indicates the increasingly anti-immigration stance among Australian voters. Those are related to liberalism.

My view on this:

It’s likely that Angus’s pivot to a far-right anti-immigration stance would do nothing but further embody PHON to be even more racist, and also incite more and more hate crimes against migrant groups in the future. And likely to sway Labor’s stance on immigration as well due to the increasing populist pressure stemming from the housing crisis.
