Even when you take into account the Philippines already having a lengthy history of illiberal leaders (Marcos Sr anyone?) and such, what’s happening there lately is pretty dismal
Watching the Marcos-Duterte alliance straight up implode over an ICC warrant would be the tiniest bit funny…if it didn’t involve these populist idiots using the legislature to shield themselves by way of the Senate seeing literal gunfire just days earlier and a certain Bato dela Rosa now on the run
