Isn’t this about “public control” where you basically use franchises while the ownership remains with the government? That’s how Transport for Manchester works, although he says he wants something more like TfL

Personally I’m starting to think he just continues Gordon Brown’s work
As an American, would Burnham or the other challengers (I know streeting is more conservative) change any of the transphobic or anti-immigrant policies/staturing of Labour? Or is that fully ingrained and not bound to change even if starmer is out?
