Yeah some big companies if they think no one’s paying attention or powerful enough will absolutely use land they have no right to
Some mining company years ago was extracting minerals from my grandpa’s neighbor’s land and they decided to push their luck and bulldoze over a bunch of old growth trees on my grandpa’s property and mine on his too without asking or notifying him
When he found out what they were doing they smugly said he couldn’t do anything about it, tough luck, etc. until he did a somewhat deranged gamer move that made them reevaluate the situation and become more amenable to clearing out. Though that didn’t grow the trees back unfortunately.
You’ve got to be conscious of what’s going on with your property & step up and introduce consequences to them or they may well keep pushing and take a mile if they think they caught you napping or too scared to stand up for yourself. Unfortunate for people who aren’t in the position to do either of those things.
