Submission statement: The US government sucks at doing shit. This is extremely relevant to public policy because if you suck at doing shit it doesn’t matter how good your policy proposal is. Having a competent bureaucracy that can handle stuff like hiring the right people is the base at which everything else is built on, and thus deserves primary consideration for any group that cares about policy.
Good things to discuss: Comments on politically feasiblility, future-proofing classification systems, discussions on the real-world impact of these ‘features’ of the US government, input from anyone who works in HR on what they think, opinions on the conclusions of the study.
