AI. Holograms. Fallen angels/demons/negative entities possessing someone, which means you’re seeing that come through the physical body. Could be many other things. However the main thing we should take from this is that – it’s so damn obvious that they want us to see it and talk about it for a reason.

Like why does it matter at all what it was? If it is a mask meant to fool us surely they would have noticed that it was visible and not let that get out?
Someone here suggested it was to hide that they were recycling pundits and wanted to hide that fact.
Really? They couldn’t come up with anyone else so they decided “Hey! Let’s reuse someone and use a mask to make them look different!”
Right now I know it’s the perfect distraction for how many threads there are about it, not that I think anyone is clever enough to think that far ahead outside a novel. 🙄

I’m leaning more towards them having some sort of AI system where they have footage of still bodies and then with AI/special effects, they broadcast a low quality video call into the face. If this is the case, what we’re seeing would be the filter/AI model glitching in the “bridge” between broadcasted face and fake body.
They would do this to maintain high quality visual standards when it comes to remote guest speakers
