This is for many reasons. For one, it makes us easier to control if we are sedentary and indoors, isolated from our communities, friends and families. It atrophies our brains, making us mentally weak and immature, which also makes us easier to control.

It can eventually cause mental disease like Alzheimer's.

The large majority of the content we "veg-out" on is designed to confine and steer our perceptions of reality. In other words, social engineering. This is to manipulate our opinions and therefor our actions.

Cerebral atrophy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cerebral\_atrophy) occurs when the brain is subject to prolonged periods and consistent screen time. The brain is a muscle that will atrophy, like any other muscle of the body, when not being used. Staring at a TV, computer, or phone for entertainment atrophies certain parts of the brain.

One of these areas is the prefrontal cortex (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prefrontal\_cortex) which is responsible for executive functions, such as planning, decision making, working memory, personality expression, moderating social behavior and controlling certain aspects of speech and language.

How would a weakened or damaged prefrontal cortex affect a person? Isn't a prefrontal cortex responsible for the very problems we are seeing in so many young people now? Is it not a coincidence that the majority of young people have screen addiction and are also experiencing problems with planning, decision making, working memory, personality expression, moderating social behavior and controlling certain aspects of speech and language?

We know what the problem is, but do we have the courage to change?

This is what a cult in person would do. It’s wild to think about that idea with modern tech.
