Just asking, has there been an election in CA where the Dem has been far ahead on election night but then the Repub comes up from behind to win in the following days?
Excerpt:
The Supreme Court could soon deliver a major blow to one of the most abused election systems in the country.
A case out of Mississippi is currently before the Court and a decision is expected by the end of the term in June. The case centers on how long states are allowed to count ballots after Election Day and what kind of grace periods they can give to late-arriving mail-in ballots.
If the Court rules that states cannot continue counting ballots well after Election Day, it would send shockwaves through states like California that have turned voting into an endless “election month” process with loose mail-in rules and extended deadlines.
Video below:
California has made a habit of dragging out the vote count for weeks, allowing ballots to trickle in long after Election Day. This creates confusion, erodes public trust, and gives bad actors far too much time to manipulate the system. Other blue states have followed similar paths, turning what should be a one-day election into a drawn-out process that favors one side.

I have never understood why you have an election day but will still allow votes to be counted days after. We all know the real reason though.
If ballots are not received TO BE COUNTED by Midnight the day of the election, they should not count.
It would be nice if SCOTUS could make their ruling today.
I wish something would actually happen this time but as history has taught me anything… nothing is going to change
Good, the way it should be.
“ohmygawd this is infringing on my right to vote any time in the 1460 days before an election or 800 million days after” get off your ass and get to the polling place the day of the election. You live in a first world country, I’m sick of pretending that people’s lazy excuses are valid.
It was so interesting how every single election won by Republicans on election day gets lost to mail in votes weeks later. Probably nothing.
We pray 🙏🏿🙏🏿
The DNC will be in a full-on panic if this happens. Especially California.
Why are other cities/states/countries able to quickly count votes, but in California, this is somehow not possible?
Odd, they didn’t have an issue with it but seemingly would if all 32k votes were ONLY for Spencer Pratt?
No, no, NO. You can’t have it one way and not the other. If I were a Democrat, I’d be on fire and horrified that people in my party were ruining what is supposed to be a fair and just system. I don’t want something “only when my side benefits”. Bullshit on that. I want everybody to show up and pull the curtain to cast a vote that matters. I want it fair and accurate. I want a just and reasonable system for ALL.
They wonder why we all come out and say enough is enough and vote for some change. Democrats very OBVIOUSLY cheat, lie and steal while pointing the finger in the opposite direction. Good luck to Spencer Pratt. IT will be a tough battle, but I hope he gets fairness.
Spoiler: California doesn’t give a fuck, will continue their brazen bullshit, and drag any legal aftermath down in years of irresponsible litigation.
If they want to keep mail in.
Then they need to do a few things.
A) voters must request a mail in ballot for every election. No sending ballots out to every adult in california registered with the dmv like they do.
B) all ballots cast must be locked and secured with 24/7 surveillance prior to counting
C)Ballots recieved after the first vote is counted are null. No halting the count and waiting 4-5 days later for millions of new ballots to show up with no chain of custody, with the only verification being a postmark which can be falsified in 2 seconds.
The issue is elections are state controlled, not federal. Even for federal offices the states dictate their process. An argument can be made for presidential elections, but we don’t directly vote for that office. We vote for electors.
It’s a 10th amendment issue.
> The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
If India can count 640M ballots in a day, CA should be able to count one twentieth that, that is unless Demorats have finally turned the Golden State into a third world country
This is why every election in every state of the union should have 3 variables that are non-negotiable:
1) mail-in strictly enforced for only military and infirm who can’t vote in person
2) counts should be conducted and finalized by midnight of Election Day.
Florida has no problem with this scenario.
It’s called election DAY for a reason, not election month. Less time to vote, less time for shenanigans.
3) to ensure everyone votes in person and with legitimate proof as US citizen, every election day should be a state and federal holiday. No one goes to work, it’s your actual job to go vote. Now you have no reason at all why you can’t vote!
If these rules were enacted in all 50 states,
cheating, lying and fraudulent voting would be a thing of the past. Like – before Covid.
I’d like the Supreme Court to have time limits on how long after the case they can give their ruling.
Cool. Are they EVER going to vote on birthright citizenship?
Fucking insane the level of idiocy places like California or Broward County get away with for these delayed counts.
There are literally zero acceptable reasons to not get your shit together for an entire month during an election
