This article is worth discussing because it tries to separate the institutional failures of the UK police from the more sensational political narratives that have grown around the case. The police response to Henry Nowak is troubling and deserves scrutiny, but jumping immediately to sweeping claims that the police were motivated by anti-white racism obscures the actual facts. That being said, there is still a problem within the culture of UK police that undermines equal treatment under the law in the name of social justice.
