Elijah McClain comes to mind, but where EM was drugged by police, thus causing his death (unusual/overuse of force); HN was killed due to lack of protocol & poor function on the police part. Sadly, he shares the fate of so many that pleaded with cops, but they didn’t listen or show concern when it was most needed.

Idk as someone who leans left on a lot of issues and mostly hang with friends who identify a Democrat I’ve yet to hear anyone bash or complain about white people or bring up it being an issue.
Now I have maga family members and that is where I hear it all the time. “You know they have people being ashamed for being white.” Comments like that. I see this as a right wing conservative talking point. In real life (not denying that these libs don’t exist but those people usually have issues tbh at least from what who I’ve met. Usually people struggling with some mental health issues (I know this will be controversial)).
I look it at it like people saying all republicans are “insert stereotype here” when I myself work in a heavy republican industry and have family and know better that most are not that stereotype. Also to me MAGA and old school republicans are two different things right now in politics and you see the split in the party especially amongst ex maga influencers Kelly, Rogan, Owens, Fuentes etc.
These wars between both parties are fabricated and heightened by the media. Experiencing life daily has me seeing life differently. Most people want the same things in life but the media has people fighting over stupid issues that doesn’t even make our lives better. And what I’ve notice is maga right now has a lot of social wars going on but never hear about what will actually make our lives better it’s just blame (insert the many scapegoats here). Obviously there are a lot who on the extreme of both ends but for the most part they make up a small majority but get the most news time
