You just never hear these speakers or these influencers talking about the things that actually matter to so many America families actually care about.

Like these big tech companies gathering all of this data and then sharing Americans and their families in lewd situations because they’re never seen people unclothed before or these small vendors who have always on data gathering devices. And then you hear about these stories and accounts by workers, but you never hear of the police getting involved when peoples privacy and their families privacy have been violated for someone’s amusement.

Or how someone was recorded when their partner was wearing recording glasses and it ends up the centre of attraction somewhere in Kenya and who knows which vendors or third parties are ending up with this data or when children are in rooms or their bedrooms what’s happening with this data and what the data retenetion policies are or where they’re sending it and what the non-American country they’re sending it to. And all of these years later, I still haven’t heard one of these big keynote speakers or party figures actually caring about how American families and how many very disturbing stories have come out and you’ve never heard of the authorities getting involved with these peekhole employees. Just because the person who set up a device consents to an agreement, doesn’t mean any tort, waiver, or contract has been signed with any other individual in the room on the software a company explicitly states they have ownership of and most of these products have material defects that either straight up do not disclose or clearly state their always on status or disclose it to the consumer. Despite these companies being aware of this material product flaw and the devices malfunctioning and potentially not complying with two-party consent or waiver laws, including in assumed to be private areas, no reasonable efforts or features have been implemented in many devices. Further, owners of the product sometimes have no way to identify emerging and unlisted capabilities of such devices and individuals in private places have no opportunity see identifiable visual indicators and markings on these devices which look no different than non-smart devices. Further, when installed or professionally installed or fixed in locations, they provide no ability for individuals in that private space to be aware of said devices and provide them with no ability to express non-consent and “opt out” while in that private space.

If a local air BnB owner or a landlord was caught doing this and sharing it around their property management office or with their business partner, we all know it’d be front page of the local newspaper!
