SS: Winston Peters has continued his criticism of the NZ-India FTA. He questioned why references to the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) appeared in the deal. Peters has claimed that provisions in the deal are inconsistent with commitments made in the government’s coalition deal.

The Government has promoted the agreement as a major economic opportunity that will boost exports and strengthen trade ties with India.
