    From the article:

“The IDF said Sunday that it killed senior Hezbollah commander Ali Musa Daqduq in a precise strike south of the Litani River in southern Lebanon over the weekend.”

This guy has been around a long time: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ali_Musa_Daqduq](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ali_Musa_Daqduq)

Joined Hezbollah in 1983 and soon become a leading officer of their special forces. Was sent to Iraq in 2005 to train Iraqi insurgents fighting the US. In 2006 he collaborated with Iranian Revolutionary Guard General Soleimani (the one Trump took out) to bring IRGC Al-Quds force sniper networks into Iraq as well as on organizing Hezbollah-style terrorist groups in Iraq, such as [Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq ](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asa%27ib_Ahl_al-Haq)and the [Mahdi Army](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahdi_Army) to fight the Americans.
