    (1) Party factionalism: Democratic Party of Korea in chaos despite winning 75% of governorships in Korea because they lost in Seoul to Oh se-hoon, a moderate conservative incumbent who opposed MAGA agenda. This led re-ignition of factional fight within the the party.

The factionalism of Democratic Party is quite well known and led to the dysfunction of the party. Pro-Moon faction, more social liberal, less economic progressive wing represented by former President Moon Jae-in and led by Jung Chung-Rae , are in conflicted with pro-Myung faction, less social liberal, more economic progressive wing.
