What are these positions: Abolish prisons? Grant voting rights to illegal immigrants? Taxpayer fund transgender treatments? And oh ofc my personal favorite, expand the court. this is moronic and if your goal is defeating Trump this goes the complete opposite direction.

Like the immune system cordoning off a virus, the Dems need to just put a firewall around nyc Dems and completely disassociate with them. Let these new congress people just be their own party. Otherwise it’s ggs for the dems and for America cause it will divide the opposition to Trump.

Meh, it’s one rep. If there are a lot of lunatics to the right of me, I need lunatics to the left of me to balance them out, or we’ll all just get dragged further and further toward MAGA.
(And the House may have its fair share of crackpots, but it’s preferable to the Senate any day.)
This is what happens when you refuse to provide the change that people are asking for. In the words of Aaron Sorkin, “People want leadership…and in the absence of genuine leadership, they’ll listen to anyone who steps up to the microphone. They want leadership. They’re so thirsty for it they’ll crawl through the desert toward a mirage, and when they discover there’s no water, they’ll drink the sand.”
Lander and Valdez are mostly fine. I question the viability of giving citizenship to all illegal aliens, but having a process for it isn’t something I think is out of the question.
Private health insurance is also just not an amazing system as it stands, and I think the path forward is a public single-payer system.
Chevalier is just bad, though.
