To most of us on the right, it seems like the left is doing a sprint toward extreme radicalism. I often wonder if our friends on the left ever stopped to really consider what’s happening internally, within the Democratic Party. Or are they simply too caught up in distain for Trump and distain for the Republican Party to the point that they are losing sight of the big picture.

Thirteen moderate Democrats have broken with the Democratic socialists by signing the “Promise to America” pledge.

The pledge strongly supports secure borders, capitalism, and patriotism. Rep. Tom Suozzi is leading the group.

So, my $0.02, there isn’t really anyone within the party, just The Party itself. Like Russia in the mid 20th century, who was where didn’t matter, just what made the party stronger.

When the Party is all that matters, dissent, moral compass, everything human goes out the window, which is what we’re seeing the beginnings of.

    So basically Nazis?

But seriously, I hope they can reign in and expel the extremists.

Whether they know it or not the Democrats are playing with fire and risk burning down the entire house

To be honest, I don’t think they are noticing. Their Trump Derangement Syndrom (TDS) is going to take them down a dangerous road. They see guys like Zohran Mamdani and think that radical leftists and wannabe communists are the best way for the party to oppose Trump.

There’s been a populist movement attacking the left from the left since at least 2016 with Bernie Sanders. The establishment dems were able to cheat him out of elections for a decade but the Mamdani wing of the party is undeniably picking up steam. The recent wave of primaries shows that. And there will be a reform coming. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer aren’t the future of the democrats in the same way that McCain Grassley or Pence are not the future of Republicans.

I see the DemSocs picking up quite a few house seats as part of this dynamic and probably a smaller number of senate seats the usual suspect states/districts. I also see them having a ton of trouble in the general election which is the silver lining.

Here’s the part this sub won’t like. The stance they take on Israel is becoming a big selling point for populist DemSocs with moderate and younger voters(who could actually go republican otherwise). We’ve got to cut out the Ben Shapiros and Mark Levins of the world and stop letting Israel drag us into wars or the DemSocs actually could gain real ground

The Democrats have been a mess for the last decade. They’re fighting everyone including themselves. They haven’t had unified values or common sense goals in at least a decade. They’re constantly angry, they’ve been holding in and spreading endless anounts of hate since Trump arrived in 2016.

Makes sense why liberals choose to live in their personal fantasy land
