What are our thoughts on the “Got Milk?” Campaign, my random midnight thoughts that haven’t left my brain.. what the heck was that & why did it work sooo well? At least for Americans, I would say 95%+ always have at least a half gallon of milk in their fridge at all times. Do they actually care about the health of Americans and think milk will solve it, or is there something deeper? I haven’t read any theories connected to this, so I’m curious what your thoughts are, or what you have heard about this. I was in elementary school into middle school when this was popular and never really thought much of it before now. Also it’s quite curious how I have noticed people from outside the US finding it bizarre how much milk Americans keep/use, I noticed this during a tiktok trend of travelers coming for the World Cup and reacting to US things.

I thought this was proven to be just a way to get rid of all the milk. That being said I love milk!
Could’ve altered population hormones for the worse.
I’m not quite sure which cultures/societies integrated milk into their daily lives but the world usually tends to take trend after western civilization.
Could’ve def been a big plot to throw the global population’s hormones outta whack.
We literally and figuratively speaking just are def not “built the same” as out ancestors, even as far as 50-100 years ago.
We just look and are physically more baby-ish and weaker- in some sense.
The official reason is pretty much to subsidize farmers. If milk is not selling, countless dairy farms need government money to not go under. Its in the government’s interest to sell a lot of milk. Its like how there was the government cheese program for free cheese from the government for poor people because it moved that money to the farms.
Also, with pasteurization they included adding a lot of vitamins so like cereal its promoted as before the modern era vitamin deficiencies caused huge problems and still do in the 3rd world(what drove making golden rice with vitamins in it already through gmo).
There are countries that drink as much milk as us if not more, it just depends where theyre from. And it depends where in america. The Amish drank an ungodly amount of milk. The dutch in new netherlands drank a ton too. Germans who came over were huge milk drinkers.
And europe gets their dairy other ways too, like france eats far more cheese than us. Or scandanavians obsessed with yogurt. Milk just exploded here because of it being heavily pushed after pasteurization. In europe they didnt have that push so heavy milk drinking stayed in rural communities, as people were mostly in cities, and limited travel, ehere itd spoil by the time they got it, while in america theres just an obscene amount of rural farms in like every state.
And when europeans see american milk, they almost always assume its whole milk which is way more fatty and hard to drink a lot of. When a vast majority of the public drink 1-2% fat milk which is like water compared to whole milk.
Only consoiracies ive seen tied to milk is people against pasteurization. But we just drink milk a lot because its financially needed for subsidized farms and saves the government money if we buy more milk. Thats why theres such an emphasis on eggs as well like making it a staple of breakfast and everyone every storm going to buy milk, eggs and bread as if one cant operate without them for a few days. As its been burned into us to eat these things. Same with the massive push of corn with stuff like corn syrup. It all comes down to government subsidizing farms and thus wanting the american diet to rely on heavy demand of the farms products.
Wow, an actual Conspiracy on r/conspiracy!
“Got Milk” is an ad campaign to get people to buy more milk and tries to start them in the habit as young as possible. It’s a partnership (conspiracy) between business and U.S Department of Agriculture to sell as much milk as possible – it’s why the ads are in schools and dairy is _always_ on the food pyramid.
When I was in school all lunches bought in the cafeteria had to have milk (even if you weren’t going to drink it) and you needed a doctor’s note to get juice or another non-milk drink. Which is interesting because over half of all U.S. citizens are lactose intolerant to some degree. This means the government is openly working with a private cabal to poison the kids! Haha, not really, it’s just to make a few people as rich as possible like 99% of other conspiracies.
The weirdest thing for me is the milk on the upper lip and how it doesn’t even look like milk
Psyop to use up surplus dairy product in the US. During the prohibition and WWII the US started subsidizing dairy farmers to produce dairy products to supply the country. Many bars became “ice cream bars” during prohibition so all of the kids that were constantly going to ice cream bars with their families grew up to fight in WWII and it became mandatory in the military to keep ice cream machines anywhere food was served. Obviously that’s a big logistic hurdle, so you need surplus dairy. Eventually though it got to become way too big and the government was getting more dairy than it knew what to do with so in an effort to find reasons to use it, they started making and storing cheese which then lead to each president from the 50s on kicking the can down the road to try and decide “do we keep making cheese or do we stop subsidizing farmers?”. Reagan’s solution of throwing it into the ocean was shot down so his administration decided to distribute it to cut down on our total supply (i.e. government cheese). Then in the late 90s/early 2000s the government decided to make a big push to sell milk so that they could stop storing as much cheese. They did this by pushing the “got milk?” Campaign. Especially to schools and young people using influential individuals to sell it.
In short, prohibition caused a massive government psyop to drink milk and forced the US to build cheese bunkers.

Ignore tiktok. Tiktok is the real psyop here to make Americans forget all the shit going on and think they’re some great nation the rest of the world are taken aback by. Almost everything I see on it that Europeans are “blown away by” is bullshit. We drink milk regularly, lots of us get it delivered. In the UK our school kids get milk daily. We have all you can eat buffets. Lots of us have been to America plenty or watched lots of American tv, none of your country is that surprising. The rest of the world isnt 1950s soviet union/USSR (i dont know their timeline).
That being said, selling guns in a store you can buy groceries is wild.
Brought to you by Big cow…
its a catchy phrase and milk is good for most of us
Beef. It’s what’s for dinner
Pork. The other white meat
I feel like chicken tonight like chicken tonight
The incredible edible egg
They’ve been making commercials for farm staples forever
The conspiracy is that the milk being advertised here will destroy a human digestive system. Go read the book the Raw Truth About Milk. There are other great books out there, but this was written by two doctors over a thirty year period.
Raw milk has amazing benefits for your body and we’ve been told to stay away from it. Everything we’re told by our government is a lie that causes us harm.
I like how you only really did women and dude from a kids cartoon. Athletes did too. Wrestlers did.
It’s been stated it was literally to bail out dairy farmer’s in the US. Follow the money
Wasn’t Jeffrey Epstein behind this?
The Mandy Moore ones the best.
We was always too poor to have gallons of milk in the house. I’ve grown to hate it anyways.
Milk is good for the cows. I doubt the health benefits they are pushing for Humans.
But I do like cheese…
