Well let’s be honest. Advertisers make a lot of their money by telling women they are not good enough. Zero money in telling women to focus on a healthy natural non branded lifestyle and that they are great just the way they are.
Commenting about her appearance and assuming that men’s sports leagues don’t do the exact same thing is actually insane. First of all, CC is good but she’s not god incarnate on the court; Not tall enough to block, not Curry level percentage from behind the arc. Is she top 5 in the league rn? Hell yeah. Is she kinda cocky and good at rage baiting opponents? Also yes. There is no conspiracy here, sports drama exists everywhere and media companies love it because it gets outsiders to actually follow a sport, in this case women’s professional basketball.
