    This article should have ended as after these two sentences. I’m not entirely sure if this author is a weirdly left person or a right wing person try to whatabout the idea that we don’t think Columbus should be celebrated anymore. Either ways it’s dumb and they should shut up.

    On the one hand, comparison to Spanish conquistadores makes me think they might have a point.

    On the other, kinda feels like the extra 500 years of distance makes it completely fine and nothing to wring hands about.
