With a respectable turnout of 117 respondents, r/neoliberal's overall verdict on America is a mostly positive one: the country scores a 71.4 based on the 0–100 index long used by the survey creator. Users overwhelmingly believe that the United States has mostly been a force for good throughout its history.

At the same time, views of its present state are quite grim: fully two-thirds believe that the United States is currently more of a malign force in the world, compared to just 1-in-7 who say the opposite. (Among the three quarters who evaluate America positively over its lifetime, the former figure is still 4-in-7.)

Regarding its future prospects, voters were split almost evenly, with around a third apiece saying that the US's best days were ahead of it, behind it, or unsure. There was little difference in opinions of the country's lifetime contributions, although a huge gap emerged pertaining to recent times, and the favorability index for those who predicted brighter days ahead clocked in at a torrid 84.5 versus 44.9 for those who felt America's best days were in the past.

Finally, among Americans another approximate three-way split was seen in terms of national pride, with the exact order being as follows: Yes (somewhat), Yes (strongly), and No. Unsurprisingly, answers were extremely correlated with views of the United States overall: every single voter who selected the most prideful answer also expressed a positive view of their country, compared to just 1-in-5 of those who said they weren't proud.

The group of international users (N=21) rated the US a 53.5 in aggregate.
