Why do articles always use this sort of clickbait title, which is always just completely wrong on it’s face. Like yes society is a real thing, what else would you call the collection of people in a state.

Submission statement: This is a great article that talks about the right’s abandonment of individual liberties and human rights in favor of chasing some imagined utopian society. It’s an important reminder that society only exists as a construct to benefit us, and the primary unit of politics should be the individual.
