She’s a great artist, and I will never attack her personally/politically. But as a Christian Nationalist, I am really happy with the indoctrination we are able to foster

I’m a teacher. I teach at a school attached to my church. I am certified by my synod (WELS) to teach Bible lessons to my class. I need to know certain truths about Bible history, our creeds, Christian doctrine, etc to have that certification. Public school teachers do not have this certification, nor should they. There are many different Protestant religions. I teach that my students received their faith from the Holy Spirit at the moment of their baptism that most received before they were a month old. My church is very happy that I’m teaching that. The parents of the children in my classroom are very happy that I’m teaching that. A southern Baptist preacher sitting in my classroom would be concerned that I’m teaching heresy. As much as I love Christ, and I love teaching about Christ, Bible lessons do not have a place in public schools. I would not want my children to be taught about the Bible from a Presbyterian, and I’m pretty sure that same Presbyterian wouldn’t want me teaching their children about the Bible.
Yes, the great commission calls for us to preach the Gospel to all nations. However, Christ never expects his disciples to have a legally obligated audience. They preached in places people chose to be, not places people *had* to be.

There’s a really ***vast*** ocean of territory between teaching the Bible, or any other religious text, and teaching *about* religion or the Bible in schools.
The latter is great. I thoroughly enjoyed my religion classes in middle and high school. The former has no place in a public school class room that’s being federally funded.
Just take your kids to church with you. Your public school teacher is almost certainly not qualified to teach your child your religion or values anyway.
