Obviously the report red numbers and the real time numbers will be vastly different. I’d wager all 50 states have infectious cases.

Luckily there is a host of right wing grifters selling the magic cure all potion called Ivermectin.
It certainly seems possible with the incredible accounts of people seeing boxes of ticks being dropped from aircraft and the CDC reporting on a big increase in tick bites and tick born disease recently. If you carry out an attack why restrain yourself to just one vector. Why not use screw worms and cyclospora? Is there some other zoo notch vectors that we just haven’t noticed yet? Wash your hands frequently, cook your food thoroughly (no rare meat or sushi) and stay out of tall grass I guess.

Cyclospora is a genus, not a specific parasite.
America is the only country that doesn’t do a “cleanse” typically, parasites are not new.
