A driver in Biddeford, Maine, reportedly tried to run over ICE agents during an enforcement operation Monday morning and was shot dead by an agent acting in self-defense.
The incident happened around 7 a.m. near the intersection of Pool and Hill Streets. According to initial reports from authorities and witnesses, the driver accelerated toward an ICE agent. The agent fired in response, striking and killing the driver. No other injuries were reported, and there was no broader threat to the public.

This comes just days after a similar case in Houston where a driver also reportedly rammed a law enforcement vehicle during an ICE-related stop. These incidents highlight the real dangers ICE agents face while carrying out lawful operations, especially when individuals choose to escalate with vehicles.
