He is quite the liar. I too was detained in Saudi Arabia when I was enlisted. I was Surrounded by 5 UAE soldiers armed with MP5’s. I had been abducted from the streets of Dahran to be held at gunpoint in an alley fearful for my life…..

Nah, armed UAE soldiers asked me and my buddies to move to an alley way during prayer time. While they stood at the entrance of the alley “on patrol” to ensure everyone was going inside to pray as local law  required. Because being out on the street during prayer was a huge No-No. especially for American military at the time. They saved our asses from any potential incidents from locals who may have been Islamic hard liners. This was around 1995 when the Khobar towers were bombed and killed 6 Airmen.

Ro Khana was in as much danger as I was back then. No danger at all.

Me and my buddies understood what was going on even with the little English the soldiers spoke, and we knew they were taking us out of a potentially dangerous situation. We were all grateful for these soldiers to step in and make sure we were safe.
