It’s crazy to me how this has like 99% on RT lol

Yeah they’re really artificially pushing this because they really can’t afford another flop with such big names for the 15th time.. they’re getting shown up by indie producers who spend a fraction of what they do

its probably a competently made move that has been dragged into the culture war so its going to get glazed by one side, slammed by the other, and 80 of the non terminally online will just go see it cuz its a solid movie

It’s 98% because curated reviewers had a chance to watch the movie first and leave good scores so they can be called again by the studio to do the same thing on another project. Probably paid too.

Rotten Tomatoes is not reliable for big time movies. Big studios can absolutely influence reviews whether a movie is good or not. Honestly though I’m sure Odyssey is actually a well made movie even if you don’t like some of the decisions.

He had like 5mins of screen time in a movie that’s nearly 3hrs…?

My thoughts on rotten tomatoes or such:
>The most famous “Exorcist” lawsuit involving the book or film titled Legion was filed in 1983 by William Peter Blatty (author of The Exorcist) against The New York Times. Blatty sued the newspaper for $6 million, alleging that Legion was unfairly excluded from the Best-Seller list despite selling enough copies to qualify.
The Verdict and Precedent
>The New York Times argued that their bestseller lists were editorial judgments and works of opinion protected by free speech, rather than strictly mathematical or guaranteed representations of sales.
Therefore, if the New York Times list could made up, all these list could be made up.

My imax viewings are all sold for two weeks. I’ll be able to see it maybe on august 1st.

I’m admittedly pretty excited to see this movie 😁 Nolan is one of my favorite directors. But, every movie has reviews typically available before the movie opens for the general public. That’s not new.

Crazy how much hate this movie is getting because most of yall can’t or don’t realize it’s based off literal legend lmao

Ugh yeah it’s so annoying that this dumb director is using 70mm and shooting in unprecedented formats. Just let 70mm die!

Critics are far left and not the ones making fun of casting an African woman to play Helen of Troy and casting a trans biological female to be a male soldier.
Regardless Nolan is fantastic and given such an epic story to tell, I have no doubt he will kill it.
